Our Story

"I've been coming here since I was a kid!"​

This phrase is one of the most common we hear at the shop. Dairy King remains a staple in the west end of Providence. We see people of all geographic locations in lines that at times circle the parking lot.

My family is grateful to have taken on Harry and Peggy's legacy. This is a brand new journey for us. My grandfather opened his business some 30 years ago 15 yards away. We know our community and clientele very well.

Dairy King has served as an oasis in a hard working immigrant community. New things await as we bring in new age ideas. One thing you will continue to see is an outdoor seating area, great service and high quality ice cream.

Our vision is to create a place on Cranston Street where we strive to build community through classic and new flavors that honor the neighborhood where the shop lives.
